The investment project to build the Golden Canal Bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge, connecting the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Hai Duong, has a route length of about 13.4km, invested by the Bac Ninh Transport Construction Project Management Board (Bac Ninh Provincial Department of Transport).

The project has a total cost of over VND2,182 billion. Of which, the project to build the Golden Canal Bridge is 740m long, 23.5m wide, designed with a permanent scale, prestressed reinforced concrete structure; the approach roads at both ends of the bridge are 12.6km long, with a road surface of 15m wide. The bridge is located in Gia Binh, Luong Tai and Nam Sach districts (Hai Duong).

The Golden Canal Bridge is considered a symbol connecting the development corridor between Bac Ninh and Hai Duong provinces, contributing to the completion of traffic infrastructure, creating momentum for socio-economic development, attracting investment and improving the lives of people in the two provinces.

It is expected that in 2025, the Golden Canal Bridge will be completed to welcome the 21st Provincial Party Congress and the entire project will be completed on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of Bac Ninh province on January 1 (1997-2027).

Also at the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and delegates pressed the button to start the construction of the social housing project under the Que Vo new urban area technical infrastructure investment project.

The social housing area is built on the land of the Que Vo new urban area technical infrastructure investment project, in Phuong Mao and Phuong Lieu wards, Que Vo town. The project has a total investment capital of more than 1,323 billion VND.

The project consists of 4 buildings, each with 12 floors and 1 attic; total construction area of ​​100,268m2, 914 apartments, meeting the housing needs of about 3,000 workers, invested by Tung Bach Company Limited. The project contributes to solving the housing problem for low-income workers, promoting sustainable socio-economic development of Bac Ninh province.

Also within the framework of the Conference on Announcing the Planning and Investment Promotion of Bac Ninh Province in 2024, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh Province granted investment registration certificates and investment cooperation agreements to 18 projects, with a total expected investment capital of over 3.4 billion USD.
