Inauguration of 'Comrades' House' for Coast Guard soldier's family in Vinh Bao commune

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, on the morning of August 20, the Anti-Drug Crime Task Force No. 1 (Vietnam Coast Guard) coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to inaugurate and hand over funding to support the construction of a "Comrades' House" to the family of professional military lieutenant Nguyen Manh Duc, Le Hop village, Vinh Bao commune.

After more than 6 months of construction, with the efforts and determination of the family, the facilitation of the Party Committee, commanders at all levels and local authorities, the house was completed on schedule, ensuring quality.

The total cost of building the house was nearly 300 million VND, of which the Vietnam Coast Guard supported 60 million VND from the unit's "For the Poor" Fund. The remaining cost was covered by the family.

In addition, officers and staff of the Anti-Drug Crime Task Force No. 1 also supported working days and donated many artifacts worth more than 15 million VND.

Lieutenant Nguyen Manh Duc is in a difficult situation, his wife does not have a stable job. He and his wife have a child under 12 months old with a congenital disease, often having to be treated in the hospital.

At the house inauguration and handover ceremony, the family of Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Manh Duc expressed their deep gratitude to the Party Committee, the Chief of the Vietnam Coast Guard, the unit and the local government for their attention and creating favorable conditions for the family to have funds to build a new, spacious house, helping him feel secure in his work and strive to complete all assigned tasks well.
