Vietnam News Agency inaugurated the project to restore the Vietnam News Agency relic site during the resistance war against France.

Attending the inauguration ceremony were comrade Vu Viet Trang, Party Secretary, General Director of VNA; leaders of VNA through the periods; leaders of VNA units and a large number of cadres and employees; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Trao commune.
At the inauguration ceremony, VNA General Director Vu Viet Trang praised the Office's efforts to complete the renovation project on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of VNA's Traditional Day and thanked the authorities and people of Hoang Lau village, Tan Trao commune, Tuyen Quang province for always showing affection and attention to keep the relic site clean and beautiful.

During the resistance war against France in late February 1952, the headquarters of Vietnam News Agency was moved to Trung Long village, Tan Trao commune as a base to serve the resistance war, serving the Dien Bien Phu Campaign with the code name T6. Here, information and documents were collected, compiled, evaluated, and exploited by Vietnam News Agency to serve Uncle Ho, the Party Central Committee, and the Government in formulating policies and communication for the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.
In 2001, the Vietnam News Agency Relic in the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site was ranked as a National Relic by the Ministry of Culture and Information (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism); in 2012, the Prime Minister signed a Decision to recognize it as a Special National Relic. Since then, this place has become a "red address" for generations of News Agency journalists to review the heroic history of the agency during the resistance war against French colonialism.

Over time, the Vietnam News Agency Relic Site has been damaged and degraded. Therefore, the Party Committee and the VNA Office Management Board have directed functional departments to survey, evaluate and decide to implement the project "Renovating the Vietnam News Agency Relic Site during the resistance war against France" in Tan Trao commune, Tuyen Quang province as a landmark project to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam News Agency's Traditional Day (September 15, 1945 - September 15, 2025) and practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of State Administrative Agencies' Offices (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025).

Leaders of Vietnam News Agency and staff took souvenir photos at the relic site.

The project "Renovating the News Agency relic site during the resistance war against France" in Tan Trao commune, Tuyen Quang province was jointly built by officials and employees of the Office. This is a meaningful activity towards the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the establishment of VNA (September 15, 1945 - September 15, 2025).
