One historical site that has been attracting tourists this summer is the Western Xia Dynasty (1038-1227) Mausoleum Complex in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China. Ticket reservations have surged by 280 percent year-on-year, especially after the United Nations Educational , Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) recognized the complex as a world heritage site last July.

Museums and cultural heritage sites are implementing many special activities to enhance the visitor experience. For example, the Shanghai Museum is holding an exhibition on ancient Egyptian civilization, running 24/7 from August 11 to 17.

At the war remnants museums, many tourists came to learn about history and commemorate those who sacrificed their lives. According to tourists, visiting historical sites has a special meaning, contributing to preserving and passing on historical memories to future generations.
