On the evening of December 9, the Phan Thiet City “Golden Voice” Contest officially opened with the first qualifying round at the Phan Thiet City Culture, Sports and Tourism Center.
Mr. Nguyen The Dung - Head of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism attended and presented flowers to the judges. The 18th Phan Thiet City Open "Golden Voice" Solo Competition - 2023 , taking place from December 9 to 30, attracted contestants aged 16 to 40 .
The contestants will go through 3 rounds: qualifying round, semi-final and final ranking. The contestants' songs include domestically composed songs; praising the Vietnamese people, revolutionary traditions; glorious Party; beloved Uncle Ho; hometown Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan . The first competition night with the performances of 20 contestants gave the audience different musical colors.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Director of the Center for Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phan Thiet City spoke at the opening ceremony, emphasizing: Through the solo singing contest "Golden Voice" Phan Thiet City expanded this time to practically welcome the National Tourism Year 2023 "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence". The contest is an artistic playground to encourage and develop the mass cultural and artistic movement. This is also a playground to create conditions for talented young people who love singing in Phan Thiet City in particular and in the province in general to have the opportunity to show their talents, exchange and share experiences. From this contest, it is hoped that good voices and suitable styles will be discovered to nurture them to become the core of the local cultural and artistic movement.
