As wireless networks transition to a virtualized, distributed Open RAN architecture, new test requirements frequently arise. Keysight continues to collaborate with its pioneering market partners to develop and validate solutions that meet these latest test needs.
Keysight Technologies now offers cost-effective test solutions
During the O-RAN Alliance's Fall 2023 Global PlugFest, Keysight Open RAN Architect (KORA) solutions were used to successfully conduct 20 multi-vendor network function integration test demonstrations with more than 25 collaborating entities in 10 labs from 7 countries.
In addition, O-RAN implementations were also tested on xApps for optimizing the radio carrier quality of service (E2 interface) with the OpenAirInterface Software Alliance (OSA) xApp on the OAI Near-Real-Time RIC at Eurecom, Traffic Steering (E2 interface) with Juniper Networks Near-Real-Time RIC and Rimedo Labs xApp at i14y lab.
Keysight's KORA portfolio also offers the market's most comprehensive suite of test solutions to verify the end-to-end performance of 5G network functions, including support for compliance, interoperability, performance, energy efficiency, security testing, and artificial intelligence and machine learning training and optimization across all phases of the Open RAN lifecycle.
"By participating in the O-RAN A LLIANCE Fall 2023 Global PlugFest, Keysight continues to demonstrate its leadership in providing solutions for the development and testing of the latest ideas and features of 5G Open RAN architectures, enabling the market to accelerate the deployment of Open RAN products," said Peng Cao, vice president and general manager of Keysight's Wireless Business Unit.
