Felix joined Atletico for $142 million in the summer of 2019 and earned $300,000 a week. Chelsea will have to pay the entire amount when borrowing the Portuguese striker for the second half of the 2022-2023 season.

But when he came to Barca this summer, Felix accepted a reduction in his seasonal salary to $422,000, or only about $8,000 per week.

Felix joined Barca on loan with no option to buy, and will return to Atletico in the summer of 2024.
