Indonesia, with the ambition to become one of the top five economies in the world and being the driving force for science, technology and innovation in Southeast Asia, has chosen CT Group to accompany it in the new booming field of frontier space economy, also known as Low Altitude Economy (LAE).

At the headquarters of the Indonesian Ministry of National Development Planning, Minister Rachmat Pambudy said: Four months ago, I visited the CT Group headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City and was really surprised by the development of science and technology in Vietnam. The low-altitude space economy is a completely new economy formed on very high technologies, and is developing explosively in advanced countries. In China, the scale of LAE in 2023 was only 65 billion USD, but by 2025 it is expected to reach 550 billion USD.

LAE is a multi-layered economic structure in space taking place below an altitude of 3,000m, a mapping of all economic sectors on the ground brought into space with much higher productivity, based on advances in science and technology such as drones, artificial intelligence, big data and the Internet of Things, aircraft, balloons, space stations, space management systems for monitoring, operating and serving.

The Indonesian government has established a Low-Earth Space Economy Committee from 2024. Meanwhile, the government has set aside a huge budget of up to 900 billion USD for science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Mr. Ta Van Thong, Ambassador of Vietnam to Indonesia said: "We acknowledge and appreciate the cooperation between the Indonesian Ministry of National Development Planning and CT Group in developing the cooperative relationship between the two countries to a new height, especially on the occasion of both countries celebrating the 80th anniversary of Independence Day. The Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia is committed to always accompanying and always open to welcome you at all times".

At the event, CT Group also signed cooperation agreements with 8 leading universities in Indonesia, namely Terbuka Open University, Udayana University, IPB University, Surabaya University, Indonesian Institute of Technology (ITI), Perbanas Academy, Visi Nusantara Institute of Technology and Business (ITB Vinus), Riau University, to maximize the potential of both parties in the fields of training, human resource development and scientific research in the field of high technology.
