Merging two provincial press agencies

On the afternoon of March 4, Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Provincial Party Executive Committee regarding the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus.


According to the decision announced by the representative of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee decided to merge and consolidate two press agencies of the province, Thai Binh Newspaper (under the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee) and Thai Binh Radio and Television Station (under the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee) into a new press agency, Thai Binh Newspaper.

Also according to the announced decisions, journalist Hoang Minh Son, Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Thai Binh Newspaper (old) was appointed by his superiors to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Thai Binh Newspaper (after merger), starting from March 17, with a term of appointment of 5 years.

Meanwhile, journalist Lam Van Minh, former Director of Thai Binh Radio and Television Station; journalist Vu Van Manh, former Deputy Director of Thai Binh Radio and Television Station; journalist Hoang Van Duyet, journalist Tran Thi Thoa, former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thai Binh Newspaper (old) were appointed to the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thai Binh Newspaper (after merger), starting from March 17, with a term of appointment of 5 years.
