Quang Tri Textile and Garment Industry Occupational Safety and Hygiene Competition 2024

Today, November 8, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Quang Tri organized the 2024 Textile and Garment Industry Occupational Safety and Hygiene Competition.

Participating in the contest were 6 teams from textile and garment companies in the province: VTJ Toms Textile and Garment Company Limited; Phong Phu International Joint Stock Company Branch, Phong Phu Export Garment Factory; Scavi Quang Tri Company Limited; Gio Linh Garment and Trading Joint Stock Company; Hoa Tho Textile and Garment Joint Stock Corporation Branch, Hoa Tho - Dong Ha Garment Company and Dai Song Tien Import-Export Garment Company Limited.

The teams went through 3 rounds of competition: introduction, knowledge and practice. The content of the competition was related to occupational safety and hygiene in the textile industry.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize to VTJ Toms Textile and Garment Company Limited; 1 second prize to Scavi Quang Tri Company Limited; 1 third prize to Hoa Tho Textile and Garment Joint Stock Corporation Branch, Hoa Tho - Dong Ha Garment Company and 3 consolation prizes to the remaining teams.

The contest is a useful playground to promote propaganda and education on occupational safety and hygiene, environmental protection; mobilize cadres, union members, workers, employers in the textile industry in particular and other industries in the province in general to actively participate in occupational safety and hygiene. Create a mass movement to do occupational safety and hygiene widely, contributing to building a culture of occupational safety and measures to prevent occupational accidents and diseases.

At the same time, enhance the responsibility of leaders at all levels, organizations, civil servants, employees, and employers for occupational safety and hygiene.
