On the morning of March 27, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee to organize a conference to inform and propagate to the province's intellectuals with the theme: "New era - mission and action". Attending the conference were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Tan Duc and more than 250 delegates who are intellectuals working at departments, branches, enterprises, scientific organizations, universities and colleges in the province.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Dinh Thien, Vietnam is entering a new era with many opportunities and challenges. Global economic trends, the impact of digital transformation and the key role of intellectuals in shaping the future. In the context of a rapidly changing world, Quang Ngai needs to change dramatically, not only relying on resources but also taking knowledge and technology as the main driving force.

Provincial leaders and intellectuals attended the conference to inform and propagate to the province's intellectuals with the theme: "New era - mission and action".

In particular, the intellectual team needs to proactively propose initiatives, participate in the policy-making process, and promote applied research to help the province integrate and develop sustainably. From there, it will impact and spread the role and tasks of the intellectual team in participating in building and developing the province in the new era, the era of national development.

At the conference, delegates discussed and exchanged to clarify the role of intellectuals in the current context. Thereby, creating high unity among intellectuals, consensus in society, contributing to building Quang Ngai and the country in the new era of development.
