The conference was held directly at the Provincial People's Committee bridge and connected online to 36 commune People's Committee bridges with the participation of nearly 360 delegates.
Attending the conference at the bridge point of the Provincial People's Committee were leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors, the Provincial Inspectorate, vertical agencies and units located in the province; leaders of departments, civil servants advising on citizen reception, handling of petitions, resolving complaints and denunciations of provincial departments, branches, sectors and the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee; leaders of ward People's Committees and leaders of specialized departments, civil servants advising on citizen reception, handling petitions, resolving complaints and denunciations in Tan Phong and Doan Ket wards...
Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Comrade Tran Quoc Khanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief Inspector of the province emphasized that after the arrangement of administrative units, up to now, the merged and newly established agencies and local authorities at the commune level in Lai Chau province have been operating stably according to the approved plan. Based on the actual situation, the Provincial People's Committee organized a training conference on professional skills in receiving citizens, handling petitions, resolving complaints and denunciations to train leaders and civil servants in knowledge, skills and expertise on this content in order to improve the capacity to perform assigned tasks, contributing to serving the socio -economic development of the province well.
In order for the Conference to achieve good results, the Provincial Inspectorate Chief suggested that the reporters have methods to convey core issues that are close to the reality at the grassroots level; increase exchanges, discussions, and present practical handling situations to help leaders and civil servants quickly approach and fully grasp the processes, skills, and expertise to advise on the good performance of public tasks at agencies, units, and localities. Leaders and civil servants fully attended the topics of the Conference, focused on studying documents, boldly raised questions and opinions, frankly discussed unclear issues, and shortcomings in the practical activities of their agencies, units, and localities to accumulate more skills and expertise to advise on the good performance of assigned tasks...
At the Conference, delegates were trained on the following contents: Citizen reception and citizen reception skills; procedures and skills in handling petitions; skills and techniques in handling denunciations; skills and techniques in handling complaints...
Also at the Conference, delegates will discuss and resolve difficulties in the process of organizing the implementation of citizen reception, handling complaints, denunciations and recommendations from citizens at their agencies, units and localities.
Through the training conference, the team of cadres and civil servants directly performing this task in the province will have a firm grasp of the regulations to advise and propose to the leaders to promptly resolve the work of receiving citizens, handling petitions, resolving complaints and denunciations of citizens; proactively grasp the situation and resolve issues right from the grassroots level...
