The Gia Lai provincial delegation was led by Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Specialized Committee.
Receiving and working with the delegation of Gia Lai Provincial Task Force were Mr. Ma Vi Chat - Deputy Governor, Head of Ratanakiri Provincial Task Force and members of the Provincial Task Force.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich expressed her joy at receiving the warm welcome from the Ratanakiri Provincial Task Force; at the same time, she sent New Year greetings from Comrade Rah Lan Chung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee on the occasion of the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay New Year to the provincial leaders and the Ratanakiri Provincial Task Force, wishing the Vietnam-Cambodia relationship in general, Gia Lai-Ratanakiri in particular, to be forever close and strong.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich emphasized: In the dry season of 2024-2025, despite many difficulties, thanks to the enthusiastic support of the provincial leaders, the Provincial Task Force, sectors, levels and Cambodian people, Team K52 searched for and collected 8 martyrs' remains, bringing the total number of martyrs found in Ratanakiri province from 2001 to present to 548 martyrs' remains. This is a result that the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Gia Lai province highly appreciate and express deep gratitude.
Mr. Ma Vi Chat affirmed: Supporting Team K52 to search for and collect the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Cambodia is both an obligation and a responsibility of today's generation to pay tribute to the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs. Because thanks to the noble international spirit, the heroic fighting, and the blood and bones of the Vietnamese Army and People helping the Cambodian people overthrow the Pol Pot genocidal regime, we have the peaceful life we have today.

Mr. Ma Vi Chat said that in the coming time, the Ratanakiri Provincial Task Force will continue to direct the sectors, levels and people in the province to closely coordinate with Team K52 to search for and collect more martyrs' remains, although information is increasingly difficult and the terrain has many changes.
At the meeting, in a friendly atmosphere, full of solidarity and friendship, the Specialized Committees of Gia Lai and Ratanakiri provinces discussed, agreed and signed many important contents to successfully organize the memorial service, farewell ceremony, and handover of the remains of 8 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died during the war in Cambodia, searched for and collected by Team K52 in the dry season of 2024-2025. Accordingly, the memorial service will be held at 8:00 a.m. on May 13, 2025 at the Ratanakiri Provincial Cultural House according to Buddhist rituals and customs of Cambodia and Vietnam. On the same day, the two provinces will coordinate to organize the farewell ceremony for 8 martyrs' remains to be repatriated to Vietnam.
On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich and members of the Gia Lai Provincial Task Force presented gifts to the Ratanakiri Provincial Task Force to strengthen the spirit of solidarity and friendship.
On the same afternoon, comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich and the delegation visited and presented gifts to the Border Protection Police Battalion, Ratanakiri Provincial Police (Kingdom of Cambodia).
