The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has just issued Decision No. 2102/QD-UBND dated August 19, 2025, promulgating the time frame for the 2025-2026 school year for preschool education , general education and continuing education in the area.

Accordingly, students in grades 1, 9 and 12 will return to school on August 22, 2025; the remaining grades will return to school on August 29. Schools will start the new school year on September 5, end the first semester before January 18, 2026, and complete the curriculum and end the school year before May 31, 2026.

Time for considering recognition of completion of primary school program and recognition of graduation from secondary school before June 30, 2026; completing enrollment for first-level classes before July 31, 2026; high school graduation exam in 2026 is expected to take place on June 11 and 12, 2026; other national exams according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training .

Holidays during the school year are implemented according to current regulations. For the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026, students will have a holiday from February 13, 2026 (ie December 26 of the lunar calendar) to February 23, 2026 (January 7 of the Binh Ngo year); cadres, civil servants and public employees will follow the provisions of the Labor Law, guiding documents of the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Provincial People's Committee.

In case of unusual situations (natural disasters, epidemics, fires, etc.) that prevent teaching and learning, school principals will proactively let students take time off after reporting to direct management and local authorities; at the same time, arrange for serious make-up teaching and learning, ensuring the school year's program and plan.
