Hau Giang was transferred 15.53 hectares of rice land to implement the Nga Bay 3 New Urban Area Project.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha approved the decision of the People's Committee of Hau Giang province to change the purpose of use of 15.53 hectares of rice-growing land to non-agricultural land to implement the Nga Bay 3 New Urban Area Project in Nga Bay ward, Nga Bay city.

Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on changing the purpose of using rice-growing land in Nga Bay city, Hau Giang province, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has the following comments:

Approved by the People's Committee of Hau Giang province to decide to change the purpose of use of 15.53 hectares of rice-growing land to non-agricultural land to implement the Nga Bay 3 New Urban Area Project in Nga Bay ward, Nga Bay city.

The People's Committee of Hau Giang province organizes inspection and review of the current status of land use to ensure consistency in records and field conditions, ensuring that the rice-growing land quota is allocated by the Prime Minister; takes full responsibility before the law and the Prime Minister for deciding to change the purpose of rice-growing land use to ensure compliance with the provisions of the law on land and other relevant laws; ensures economical and effective land use; is responsible for inspecting and supervising the separation and use of the topsoil layer in accordance with the provisions of law; regularly inspects and resolves difficulties and problems in the process of organizing the implementation of changing the purpose of rice-growing land in accordance with the provisions of law.

The People's Committee of Hau Giang province accepts and fully implements the opinions of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and can only decide to change the purpose of using rice-growing land when the project meets the conditions and complies with the provisions of law.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is fully responsible for the content of the appraisal report, the completeness and accuracy of the attached documents for the conversion of rice-growing land use purpose to implement the Nga Bay 3 New Urban Area Project in Nga Bay Ward, Nga Bay City, Hau Giang Province, ensuring compliance with regulations; monitoring and guiding the implementation of the conversion of rice-growing land use purpose in accordance with the provisions of law.
