At noon on January 21, hundreds of police officers from the Drug Crime Investigation Department (C04) - Ministry of Public Security were still coordinating with Tan Phu District Police, professional departments of Ho Chi Minh City Police, and Binh Duong Provincial Police to blockade and search Phuong Lam bar, Go Dau street (Tan Son Nhi ward, Tan Phu district).

Surrounding roads were blocked to facilitate a search of the bar.

Earlier, in the early morning of the same day, hundreds of detectives raided Phuong Lam bar. At that time, inside the bar, there were nearly 200 male and female partygoers dancing to the vibrant sounds of a nightclub.

Seeing the police, hundreds of drug addicts tried to escape, but all exits were blocked. Some people tried to get rid of many tablets and small packages of drugs, but were quickly discovered.

Many people were controlled and detained by the police.

As of noon on January 21, authorities were still blocking off the above entertainment venue to search.
