Meaningful voyage taking overseas Vietnamese to visit Truong Sa and DK1 platform

Delegates in the working delegation said goodbye to the mainland to visit Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province and DK1 platform on the southern continental shelf of the Fatherland.

During this voyage, the delegates visited and worked at the islands of Da Thi, Sinh Ton, Len Dao, Co Lin, Da Tay A, Truong Sa and the DKI/8 Que Duong platform.
Delegates set foot on Da Thi Island, the first destination on the cruise.
Here, the delegates had emotional experiences and interacted with officers and soldiers on the island.
After Da Thi Island, delegates of working group No. 13 moved to Sinh Ton Island.

At Sinh Ton Pagoda, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen (a Laotian expatriate) could not hold back her tears when reading the names of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives at Gac Ma Island.
The delegation continued their journey to Len Dao Island and Co Lin Island.

After the exchange, the delegation left the island to continue their meaningful journey.
In particular, during the working trip, the overseas Vietnamese delegation attended the Memorial Ceremony for soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty of the islands at Gac Ma.
Many people could not hold back their tears at the memorial service.
Delegates released flowers and paper cranes to commemorate the martyrs.

DK 1/8 Que Duong platform is also the final destination of working group No. 13 on the "Great Solidarity Train" cruise.
The delegates in the working group were all very happy to be able to set foot on the Platform in the middle of the vast ocean.
