Hai Duong ranks 7th in the country in terms of GRDP growth.

According to the General Statistics Office, Vietnam's gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 6.43% in the first 6 months of 2024, just lower than the same period in 2022.

During this period, many localities across the country witnessed strong growth in gross regional domestic product (GRDP).

There are 7 localities recording double-digit GRDP growth rates including: Bac Giang (14.14%), Khanh Hoa (12.73%), Thanh Hoa (11.5%), Ha Nam (10.35%), Hai Phong (10.32%), Tra Vinh (10.27%), Hai Duong (10%).
