Locations to watch the parade on National Day September 2

In addition to specific locations, people can stand along the routes the delegation passes through to watch. However, it is expected that main streets such as Nguyen Thai Hoc - Kim Ma - Lieu Giai - Le Duan - Trang Thi - Hang Khay - Ngoc Ha will be crowded, so everyone should arrange to go early to choose a good spot.

Location 1: Hung Vuong – Hang Chao intersection

Located right next to Ba Dinh Square, this is an ideal location to witness the moment when the military parade and marching march out from the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum area. From this point, you can clearly observe the turns: lines 1 and 2 go to Nguyen Thai Hoc, line 3 turns to Kim Ma, line 5 goes straight to Hang Day Stadium. The space is newly renovated, spacious, with many convenient places to stand.

Location 2: South Gate Area – Trang Thi

Located on the route of the parade No. 1, this is a central area with convenient transportation, easy to travel by bus or walk from Hanoi station, the old quarter. Households and shops around Hang Bong and Trang Thi streets can observe from high floors.

Location 3: Intersection of Hang Khay – Trang Tien Street

This is the end of the first line, suitable for those who arrive late to see the parade. The space is spacious, convenient for taking photos, close to many entertainment spots and restaurants around Hoan Kiem Lake. Tourists staying in the old quarter can choose this location to watch the parade and stroll around the streets.

Location 4: August Revolution Square

In front of the Hanoi Opera House, this square is an impressive stop on Line 1. The space is large, the architecture is ancient, and it often hosts major events, so it has all the conditions to serve the people. This is an ideal choice for those who want to watch the army and enjoy the festival atmosphere.

Location 5: Trang Tien – Phan Chu Trinh intersection

As the parade passes at a slow speed, this intersection gives spectators more time to observe carefully. The surrounding area has many shops and hotels, making it convenient to move around.

Location 6: Kim Ma – Nguyen Thai Hoc intersection – Son Tay

Located on the main axis from Ba Dinh to the West, this location is convenient for people in Ba Dinh, Dong Da, Cau Giay areas. The road is spacious, easy to observe the whole scene.

Location 7: Intersection of Le Duan - Nguyen Thai Hoc

The intersection of lines 1 and 2 is just over 1 km from Ba Dinh Square. Spectators do not have to wait too long to see the procession pass by. However, the space here is quite cramped, making it more difficult to get out after the parade.

Location 8: Kim Ma – Lieu Giai intersection

As the intersection between Line 3 and other lines, this is an open area with many high-rise buildings for observation from above such as Lotte Center, Daewoo Hotel, Vincom Metropolis... People taking the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station train can also easily access it. Two high-level coffee shops, Starbucks (Metropolis) and Brodard (Daewoo), also have good views.

Location 9: Tran Phu - Nguyen Tri Phuong Street

As the route of routes 6 and 7 (tanks, wheeled vehicles), this area has few houses, mainly offices, embassies, and hospitals. Therefore, it is unlikely to be too crowded. The sidewalk is wide, suitable for those who want to comfortably observe.

Location 10: Lieu Giai – Van Cao route

This is the last section of Route 3, where the procession ends its journey. People can fully feel the atmosphere before the parade ends. In addition, public areas such as parks and sidewalks along the way are also convenient for families and groups of friends to watch.

Notes when watching parades

Everyone should go early to choose a good spot, especially at central locations such as Hung Vuong, Trang Thi, Trang Tien. Wear light clothes, bring water, a thin raincoat or an umbrella.

Do not jostle or push, maintain order and follow the instructions of the authorities. Choose an open space with a quick exit, especially for families with small children. Everyone should use public transport (bus, train) instead of private cars to avoid congestion.

Each location offers a unique perspective: from the solemnity of the procession departing at Ba Dinh Square, to the vibrant bustle around Hoan Kiem Lake, or the enthusiastic atmosphere on the main roads. The choice of location not only helps people and tourists fully enjoy the parade, but also contributes to creating unforgettable memories on the big day.
