Depending on the strengths and natural conditions of each locality (before the district ceased operations), Ke Sach district had oriented the development of fruit growing areas in each region, in order to ensure fruit output supplied to the market as well as maintain the connection between companies and businesses that have signed fruit consumption contracts over the past many years.

According to statistics of Ke Sach district, there are currently 25 cooperatives specializing in fruit production in the district. Among them, many cooperatives have signed fruit consumption contracts with companies and businesses to export fruits to markets such as Europe, the United States, China, and South Korea. In 7 years (2018 - 2024), the district's fruit output has exported nearly 900 tons, and members of the cooperative have an additional profit of more than 14 billion VND. Among the fruits signed to "export", the most are star apple and grapefruit. Star apple is the first fruit product of the district and also the first of the province to export to the US market in 2018. In the first year, the export output was only over 30 tons, by 2025, the output had increased to 183 tons. As for grapefruit, the export output in 2021 reached more than 1,000 tons, and by 2025 it had increased to more than 1,200 tons. In order to facilitate the export of the district's specialty fruits to other countries, the district has received support from specialized agencies to issue 45 codes on fruits such as star apple, grapefruit, mango, durian, and longan with an area of more than 431 hectares.

Mr. Ho Van Hoi - Director of Trinh Phu Agricultural Cooperative, Trinh Phu Commune (Ke Sach District) said: "Over the past many years, thanks to the support of the professional sector and local authorities at all levels, the output of star apples produced at the cooperative has had a stable output. As the cooperative with the first purple star apple product exported from the district to the US market, we are very honored and proud. Therefore, the cooperative always produces star apples in strict compliance with the technical processes instructed by the associated purchasing company, so the cooperative's star apple products are always of good quality, the output price of star apples is always nearly double the market price. Thanks to that, over many years of contracting to consume star apples with the company, the income of cooperative members has increased significantly and most members are well-off and rich".

“In recent times, the district's fruit production has changed in terms of planting area, production organization, and application of many scientific and technical advances to improve productivity, quality and product value. In particular, the consumption linkage between cooperatives and companies and enterprises when purchasing fruits has a stable price and is always higher than the market price. To maintain the fruit tree area and the fruit product consumption linkage between cooperatives and companies and enterprises, the unit will support new communes (after the merger) with fruit tree areas to increase the application of advanced science and technology in production. Expand the area of split application to meet the needs of domestic and foreign markets. Invite more companies and enterprises to export linkages to increase output and enhance product value. It is recommended that gardeners and fruit production cooperatives absolutely do not use banned pesticides on fruits”, said Mr. Tran Van Toan - Head of the Cultivation Station. and Ke Sach District Plant Protection Department informed.
