Gasoline prices continue to rise

Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline is not higher than VND 20,431/liter, an increase of VND 374/liter; RON95-III gasoline is not higher than VND 21,019/liter, an increase of VND 273/liter compared to the current base price). Thus, E5RON92 gasoline is currently 588 VND/liter lower than RON95-III gasoline.

This is the second consecutive increase in gasoline prices since the beginning of 2025. The price increase this time is also equivalent to the increase on January 2, 2025.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has recently issued instructions to promote the consumption of biofuel. However, at a recent press conference, the Ministry of Industry and Trade admitted that E5RON92 gasoline is “sluggish” for many reasons, including the fact that the price difference with RON95 gasoline is not enough to encourage buyers.
