Accordingly, this precious metal was traded at 8:45 a.m. today (April 3) at 3,151 USD/ounce, up about 21 USD compared to the same time last session. This price is equivalent to 98.10 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank.
Domestically, gold prices were also adjusted by businesses as soon as trading opened. For example, at Saigon Jewelry Company, Doji and Phu Quy, SJC gold prices were announced by businesses at VND100.10-102.80 million/tael, an increase of VND1 million/tael compared to the previous closing price.
Similarly, the price of gold rings also increased sharply, in which Phu Quy Company listed from 99.80-102.70 million VND/tael, plus 1 million VND/tael.
Previously, yesterday, domestic gold prices suddenly reversed and fell, pulling the selling price below the threshold of 102 million VND/tael.
This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on April 3 at 24,854 VND/USD, up 3 VND compared to the previous session. With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank announced from 25,570-25,930 VND, up 110 VND. Vietinbank traded from 25,540-25,900 VND/USD (buy/sell), up 90 VND.
At BIDV Bank, businesses bought at 25,540 VND/USD and sold at 25,900 VND/USD, up 70 VND. Agribank traded from 25,550-25,890 VND/USD (buy/sell), up 90 VND./.
