The price of on-demand endoscopy at public hospitals is up to 134 million VND/time.

From August 15, 2023, Circular No. 13/2023/TT-BYT regulating the price framework and pricing method for on-demand medical examination and treatment services at public medical examination and treatment facilities will officially take effect.

Accordingly, the price for medical examination and treatment on demand at special-class and class 1 hospitals is at least 100,000 VND/visit and at most 500,000 VND/visit. For other medical examination and treatment facilities, the minimum price is 30,500 VND/visit and at most 300,000 VND/visit. For the price of a hospital bed for treatment on demand, type 1 bed/room, the minimum price is 180,000 VND/day and the maximum is 4 million VND/day.

Also according to Circular 13/2023/TT-BYT, there are 1,937 types of technical services and tests on demand with maximum and minimum prices. Of which, the service with the highest price is robotic endoscopic surgery to treat chest diseases, with a maximum price of more than 134 million VND/time and a minimum price of more than 91 million VND/time.

In the list of diagnostic imaging services, the service with the highest price is PET/CT simulation radiotherapy, with a maximum price of more than 28.7 million VND/time and a minimum price of about 20.5 million VND/time, excluding contrast agents.
