Hanoi tourism earns 73,000 billion VND in the first 7 months of the year

According to a report by the Hanoi Department of Tourism on July 25, the total number of visitors to Hanoi reached 2.8 million, of which international visitors accounted for nearly 20%. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at VND10,680 billion.

In the first 7 months of 2025, the total number of tourists to Hanoi is estimated at 18.36 million. International tourists are estimated at more than 4.2 million, the number of international visitors staying is 2.97 million.

In the first 7 months of the year, tourism brought Hanoi 73,000 billion VND, an increase of 14.5% over the same period in 2024.

To date, Hanoi has 3,761 accommodation establishments with 71,200 rooms, including 85 hotels and apartment buildings rated from 1 to 5 stars.

In August and September, Hanoi will organize many events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. This is considered the golden time for Hanoi to attract tourists to the capital.

According to the latest data from travel platform Booking.com, Hanoi is the most searched destination by Vietnamese people during the National Day holiday (from August 29 to September 3).

Hanoi's appeal is recognized by all groups of visitors: family travelers, group travelers, couples, and solo travelers.

In the coming time, Hanoi will organize many large-scale activities, the most prominent of which is the parade taking place officially on September 2.

In addition, on the evening of September 2, Hanoi will organize five fireworks displays at Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, My Dinh National Stadium and West Lake.
