Dong Nai: 8-year-old boy dies in irrigation reservoir

According to initial information, at around 9:30 a.m. the same day, D.HT (born in 2017, residing in Lap Thuan 8 village, Loc Ninh commune) and some friends in the neighborhood went to play in a rubber garden near their house. While playing, T. went down to the water reservoir area to water the plants nearby. At around 11:00 a.m., when his family went looking for him, they discovered that he had fallen into the lake (about 7m deep, about 150m² in area).

Upon receiving the report from Loc Ninh Commune Police, the Search and Rescue Team of Region 11 quickly dispatched a specialized vehicle and 7 officers and soldiers to the scene to carry out the search.

After nearly 1 hour of effort, at 12:30, the authorities found and brought T.'s body to shore, handing it over to local authorities and family for funeral arrangements.
