Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi visited and gave gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and meritorious people.

On July 22, a delegation of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City led by Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, visited and presented gifts to families with meritorious services, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

The delegation visited Ms. Vo Thi Dac (born in 1949, residing in Binh Hung Hoa ward) and Mr. Tran Tien (born in 1954, residing in Binh Hung Hoa ward).

Upon visiting, comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi kindly asked about health, sent greetings and encouragement to Mr. and Mrs. and family.

Along with the whole country, Ho Chi Minh City is always one of the leading localities in the work of gratitude and care for war invalids, martyrs' families, and people with meritorious services to the country.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee suggested that local Party committees and authorities continue to pay attention to doing a good job of gratitude, taking good care of war invalids, families of martyrs, people with meritorious services to the country, and supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.

Ms. Vo Thi Dac joined the revolution from a young age, worked as a local liaison and was imprisoned by the enemy. Her husband was a martyr and she had an only daughter. She also participated in many local activities, was the head of the Liaison Committee of former political prisoners and prisoners of war in the ward, and was a party member with 45 years of Party membership.

Mr. Tran Tien joined the revolution in 1972, with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, and was wounded in 1974 in Quang Tri . He lives with his wife, has 2 children who are married and living separately. He is the Party Secretary of Ward 50, a 40-year-old Party member.
