In his opening speech and introductory report, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, said that the workshop was organized on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Nguyen Luong Bang to pay tribute to his noble revolutionary life and his great activities and contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. Thereby contributing to fostering and educating the spirit of patriotism and revolutionary ideals for cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, especially the younger generation.

Comrade Nguyen Luong Bang was a pioneer communist soldier during the Party building period, loyal to the Party and revolutionary ideals throughout his life; a talented leader of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution; a model of pure and exemplary revolutionary morality, an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh. During his visits and work with the Hai Duong Party Committee and people, he always reminded the Hai Duong Party Committee to focus on Party building, comprehensive socio-economic development, gradually improving people's lives, and striving to make Hai Duong a prosperous and developed province.

According to Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang, at 75 years old and more than half a century of fighting for independence, freedom and socialism under the flag of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, comrade Nguyen Luong Bang is a shining example of a communist leader who devoted his whole life to national independence, for the freedom and happiness of the people...

The workshop was held once again to clarify the great contributions and dedication of comrade Nguyen Luong Bang. These will be extremely valuable historical data of the Party and important documents for Hai Duong and the provinces where comrade Nguyen Luong Bang worked to use as documents to serve the work of propaganda and education of revolutionary traditions for generations, especially the young generation today and tomorrow. From there, arouse and enhance national pride, promote historical and cultural traditions, the spirit of patriotism and love for the homeland in building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the period of integration and development.

At the workshop, Hai Duong Provincial Party Standing Deputy Secretary Le Van Hieu, authorized by Deputy Head of the Office of the President Pham Thanh Ha, presented a speech on the activities and contributions of Comrade Nguyen Luong Bang in his capacity as Vice President. Comrade Nguyen Luong Bang worked tirelessly for the cause of building socialism and fighting for national reunification; actively joined the Party and State leaders in leading the implementation of the highest goal of building socialism in the North, liberating the South, and unifying the country. He paid attention to production, stabilizing life, promoting the people's mastery; made many contributions in the field of foreign affairs; actively built a strong Party in terms of ideology, politics and organization.

Ms. To Thi Bich Chau, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, discussed the activities and contributions of Comrade Nguyen Luong Bang to the Viet Minh Front.
