On the afternoon of July 22, in Muong Khuong district, a conference was held to announce the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on personnel work.

Attending the conference were comrades: Dang Xuan Phong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lao Cai province; Vu Van Cai, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Duong Duc Huy, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Ly Van Hai, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Giang Thi Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

According to Decision No. 900-QD/TU, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to transfer comrade Giang Seo Van, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province to work at Muong Khuong District Party Committee, appointed him to join the Party Executive Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, holding the position of Secretary of Muong Khuong District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025, from July 15, 2024.

Presenting the decision and speaking at the conference, comrade Dang Xuan Phong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, exemplary role, and utmost efforts to excellently complete assigned tasks for the common development of the province of comrade Giang Seo Van.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the assignment of Comrade Giang Seo Van to the position of Secretary of the Muong Khuong District Party Committee was discussed and reached a high consensus by the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee, as a step to prepare personnel for the next term Party congresses at all levels; this is also the first time since the re-establishment of the province that a member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee has been appointed to the position of District Party Secretary.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Party Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Muong Khuong District Party Committee to unite and work together with the new District Party Secretary to complete the assigned tasks. At the same time, he hoped that Comrade Giang Seo Van in his new position would be the center of great solidarity, creating consensus among cadres, party members and ethnic people in the area, promoting his work experience, effectively utilizing resources to soon bring Muong Khuong district out of poverty.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Giang Seo Van thanked the provincial leaders, agencies, departments and branches for their attention and support throughout his working journey, and promised to strive to learn, practice, inherit and promote the traditions of Muong Khuong district to excellently complete his tasks in his new position.

The new Secretary of the Muong Khuong District Party Committee hopes that the provincial leaders, departments, branches and sectors will continue to pay more attention and help; the Party Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Muong Khuong District Party Committee will promote the spirit of solidarity; and the people in the area will reach consensus to successfully carry out the set tasks and goals.
