Welcoming Professor, Dr. Khuu Dung and the Tsinghua University delegation to visit Quang Ninh and Ha Long Bay, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, gave an overview of the potential and strengths of Quang Ninh province; the special values ​​of landscape, geology and geomorphology of Ha Long Bay - which has been recognized by UNESCO three times as a World Natural Heritage.

The Provincial Party Secretary also emphasized that, with its geographical location bordering the People's Republic of China, in recent times, the friendly cooperation between Quang Ninh and Chinese localities has been continuously strengthened. In which, education is one of the key areas of cooperation. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, Quang Ninh province and Tsinghua University could research and promote a number of cooperation activities in the field of training high-quality human resources.
