It is known that in addition to serving the food and accommodation needs of the army's cadres at all levels; serving conferences, seminars, training courses, sports events, and competitions organized by the Ministry of National Defense, the Military Region 3 Command, and agencies and units in the area; Nursing Unit 295 also combines business, food and accommodation services for domestic and international delegations visiting and traveling in the area. Therefore, in addition to investing in facilities to ensure the most convenience and comfort, the unit also coordinates with local Party committees, authorities, and forces to maintain political security and social order and safety in the area.
According to Colonel Pham Tien Dung, Head of Group 295: In recent years, despite facing many difficulties, heavy tasks, large workloads, small numbers of soldiers, and uneven professional qualifications of cadres and employees... the Party Committee and the Group's commanders have always closely followed the requirements, tasks, and characteristics of the practical situation of the area and unit to have measures to lead, direct, and improve the quality of all aspects of work. In particular, the Group pays special attention to improving the quality of nursing care for the cadres and employees. Along with that, the Group mobilizes resources to build, renovate, and repair barracks, campuses, and landscapes of regular units to be bright, green, clean, beautiful, civilized, and modern; Invest in upgrading facilities such as: Rest rooms, dining rooms, halls, sports training areas, means of transport... fully equipped, synchronous, convenient, safe, meeting the needs not only of the military, but also of tourists coming to visit and relax.
“Every year, the Delegation organizes the reception, attentive and thoughtful service of thousands of guests, serves dozens of conferences, seminars and meetings, and is recognized and highly appreciated by the Head of Military Region 3 Command, the Political Department, officers in the Army and local Party committees and authorities. In the first 6 months of 2023 alone, the unit welcomed and served more than 800 resort guests; more than 10,000 conference and business guests (an increase of 14.8% compared to the first 6 months of 2022),” said Colonel Pham Tien Dung.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Nam, Political Commissar of Nursing Group 295, shared: “To improve the quality of service, the Party Committee and the Group's commanders always pay attention to the human factor, considering it an important issue that determines the completion of the unit's tasks. The Group regularly does a good job of training, fostering, and improving the professional qualifications and skills of its staff. When selecting and recruiting contract workers, the unit also sets high requirements for communication skills and behavior with tourists. Party committees and commanders at all levels also regularly follow the unit, observe and listen to feedback from guests, thereby having measures to innovate, be creative and flexible in the way of serving.”
In addition, the Youth Union promotes the implementation of the Emulation Movement to Win, the sudden and peak emulation campaigns launched by the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region, and Political Department, the Party Committee and the Youth Union's commanders concretize the contents, goals, targets, and measures, in accordance with the characteristics of the unit's tasks to deploy and organize the implementation closely and effectively.
