Commanders of Military Region 3 and Military Region 5 appointed as Deputy Chiefs of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army

The Prime Minister decided to appoint Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc , member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Commander of Military Region 5, to hold the position of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc was born in 1966; hometown is Cam Le district, Da Nang city.

He used to work at the Dak Nong Provincial Military Command. He worked for many years in Military Region 5, holding the positions of Deputy Commander of Military Region 5; Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 5.

In November 2018, he became Director of the Operations Department, General Staff. In October 2020, he became Commander of Military Region 5. At the 13th National Congress of the Party, Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc was elected as a member of the Party Central Committee.

He used to work at the Nam Dinh Provincial Military Command. He worked for many years in Military Region 3, holding the positions of Deputy Commander of Military Region 3; Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 3; Commander of Military Region 3.

At the 13th National Congress of the Party, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc was elected as a member of the Party Central Committee.

Extending the term of office for Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed a decision to extend the military service period and maintain the position of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, from December 1, 2024 to November 30, 2025.

Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung appointed Deputy Chief of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army

Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung, Director of the Department of Personnel, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, holds the position of Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

The President promoted Mr. Le Quang Minh to the rank of Senior Lieutenant General.

On the afternoon of December 11, at the Presidential Palace, President Luong Cuong presented the decision to promote the rank of Lieutenant General to Senior Lieutenant General for Mr. Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.
