At noon on August 20, the Russian Armed Forces arrived at Noi Bai International Airport ( Hanoi ) to prepare to participate in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2.

At the airport, Colonel Phung Chi Cao, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Hanoi Capital Command, welcomed and presented flowers to congratulate the Russian armed forces on their arrival in Vietnam.
The Russian Armed Forces delegation to Vietnam to participate in the parade and march at the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd included more than 30 soldiers. The ideal height of Russian soldiers is about 1.8-1.9 m.
As soon as the plane carrying the Russian military force landed at Noi Bai International Airport, the competent agencies of the Ministry of Defense coordinated with relevant agencies and units to complete the entry procedures for the delegation and ensure the equipment and materials brought along were quick and safe. After that, the Russian soldiers boarded the vehicle and moved to the center of Hanoi.

Previously, Cambodian and Lao military delegations arrived in Vietnam on August 15 and 16, respectively. The two delegations stayed in Phu Tho and are practicing at the Mieu Mon National Training Center (Hanoi).
At the Government press conference on August 7, Major General Tong Van Thanh, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, said that Vietnam invited four countries to attend the parade on the occasion of National Day. Three delegations including Russia, Laos and Cambodia accepted the invitation and are present in Vietnam.

The parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) will take place from 6:30 a.m. on September 2 at Ba Dinh Square (Hanoi). After passing the stage at Ba Dinh Square, the parade groups will split into 7 directions through the central streets of Hanoi.
