Comrade Pham Tien Nam - Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association spoke at the Conference.

At the Conference, the report on the results of the association's work and the farmers' movement in 2024, as well as the direction and tasks for 2025, was approved. Accordingly, the provincial association has 106 grassroots associations; 970 branches, with 70,519 farmer members. In 2024, the associations at all levels proactively advised on the good implementation of the association's work and the farmers' movement. Organized propaganda on the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, especially new resolutions, programs and projects related to agriculture, farmers and rural areas; implemented the 5-year review of the implementation of three Resolutions 04, 05, 06-NQ/HNDTW of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union (term VII) on building a clean and strong Vietnam Farmers' Union; organized consulting, support and service activities for farmers to develop production and business.

Comrade Duong Dinh Duc - Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association approved the report on the results of the association's work and the farmers' movement in 2024.

The whole province has 4,695 households achieving the title of excellent business production (SXKDG) at the commune level, 1,336 households achieving the title of excellent business production (SXKDG) at the district level, 290 households achieving the title of excellent business production (SXKDG) at the provincial level, and 35 households achieving the title of excellent business production (SXKDG) at the central level. In 2024, the Provincial Farmers' Association plans to achieve and exceed the emulation targets of the association and farmers' movement; guide and establish 8 "Farmers compete in production and business associated with no bad customs, building a civilized lifestyle" Clubs.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Vu Manh Ha - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee shared the difficulties of Lai Chau province, and affirmed that the province has many potentials and strengths for economic development. Concluding the Conference, Comrade Pham Tien Nam - Vice Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association highly appreciated the results achieved by the Provincial Farmers' Association in 2024. He suggested that in the last months of the year, the Provincial Farmers' Association complete the work, especially the association's work targets, to organize a cluster meeting at the end of November and summarize and meet the Executive Committee in December.

Based on the proposal of the provincial leaders and the provincial Farmers' Association, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association decided to support Lai Chau province to eliminate temporary houses associated with trade and service development in the first quarter of 2025, to help farmer members have both solid houses and create sustainable livelihoods; support seedlings (pear, jackfruit, fritillaria, etc.) to create concentrated growing areas, thereby forming a linkage chain, especially building a processing factory in Lai Chau province to create stable output for products, increasing income for farmer members...
