The delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was led by Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong.
The delegation included alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dang Hoang Giang, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ngo Le Van and representatives of leaders of units in the Ministry.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs respectfully laid a wreath and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum. The delegation's wreath bore the inscription "Eternal gratitude to the great President Ho Chi Minh".
With infinite gratitude, the Delegation respectfully commemorated the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader, beloved teacher of our Party and people. He sacrificed his whole life for the cause of national liberation, national reunification, and building an independent and unified Vietnam.

As the leader of the revolution to victory, leader Ho Chi Minh held the role of Chairman of the revolutionary government and was also the first Foreign Minister of the Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in the period 1945-1946.
President Ho Chi Minh always paid close attention to directing foreign affairs work, approaching Vietnamese and world realities, developing and proposing many principles, viewpoints, and arguments about the times, international guidelines, foreign policies, and Vietnamese diplomacy.

Afterwards, the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs laid wreaths and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Monument to the Heroes and Martyrs on Bac Son Street, Hanoi. The delegation's wreath bore the inscription "Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs".
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the members of the delegation expressed their remembrance and gratitude to the nation's outstanding sons who fought bravely, sparing no blood and were willing to sacrifice for the cause of national liberation, for the independence, freedom and unity of the Fatherland, and for the happiness of the people.
Bac Son Memorial is a place to commemorate heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. The memorial is located opposite the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, next to the Thang Long Imperial Citadel and Ba Dinh Hall.
