Cultural and artistic highlights

Opening a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, the Dong Nai Literature and Arts Association organized a thematic exhibition on 50 years of Dong Nai Literature and Arts after the country's reunification at the outdoor space of the Dong Nai Museum. The exhibition displays nearly 300 typical works of literature and arts, recording the simple beauty in the life of the land and people of Dong Nai through the ages.

Also in this campus, Dong Nai Museum serves free of charge the need to learn about Dong Nai culture and history through the Exhibition of Ancient Metallurgy in Dong Nai. The exhibition displays more than 300 images and artifacts about a flow of metallurgical techniques, bronze casting, and iron forging in the early bronze - iron period in Dong Nai. In addition, Dong Nai Museum also displays the special exhibition "One Hundred Years of Bien Hoa Pottery" from April 20 to May 10 to introduce Bien Hoa - Dong Nai pottery artifacts throughout history, from traditional to modern.

Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thi Ngoc Loan said that to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the cultural sector closely followed the general plan for organizing major holidays of the central and provincial levels, and has been promoting propaganda work; in addition to organizing exhibitions, the sector is organizing the Dong Nai Province Ceramics - Hot Air Balloon Festival in 2025, taking place from April 27 to 30. In particular, the cultural sector coordinated with units and localities to organize the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day on the morning of April 28, at the Provincial Event and Foreign Affairs Center.

Among the cultural and artistic activities that people look forward to during the celebration is the art program performed by Dong Nai Art Theater recreating the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification and the low-altitude fireworks display at 9:00 p.m. on April 28 at the Provincial Event and Foreign Affairs Center. The art program includes many musical and dance performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, and the love for the homeland and country, such as: Vietnam - the era of rising up, Millions of hearts share the same aspiration; solo "People overcoming the darkness"; group singing "Strength of solidarity"...

Artist Dieu Tram (Dong Nai Art Theater) shared: “From the beginning of April until now, the atmosphere towards the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification has been very bustling, spreading widely, penetrating into every rehearsal and every art performance. We, the artists and actors, have been practicing diligently with all our passion and responsibility, wishing to bring the audience the most complete performances. Being able to stand on stage on this important occasion is a great honor, a pride that is difficult to express in words.”

Vice Chairman of Bien Hoa City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Thanh said that the activities to celebrate major holidays in the city took place vibrantly in the system of public cultural spaces, parks: Duong Tu Giang, Nguyen Van Tri, Bien Hung. In particular, the highlight was the display of more than 15,000 books with 150,000 copies (from April 24 to May 1); a mass formation performance to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30); Lion and Dragon Dance Competition, decoration, display of miniature landscapes, art performances and photo and ceramic exhibitions, documentary film screenings... took place from April 24 to May 1.

“Organizing a variety of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification Day and International Labor Day (May 1) is not only an opportunity to review the heroic history, arouse the spirit of solidarity and national pride in each citizen, but also a way to convey a strong message about the great significance of the historic Victory of April 30, 1975. From there, it will add motivation and encourage all classes of people to make efforts and join hands to build the homeland to develop more and more,” said Mr. Thanh.

Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism LE THI NGOC LOAN shared: “The April 30 and May 1 holidays last for many days, so the cultural sector has sent documents to tourism businesses requesting them to ensure food hygiene and safety, security and order, fire prevention and fighting… before, during and after the holidays. Inspection and examination activities of cultural, sports and tourism services have been strengthened, carried out regularly and continuously, especially at relics and destinations, ensuring that people and tourists have a joyful and safe holiday”.

Attractive cultural activities serving the grassroots

Director of Dong Nai Cultural - Cinema Center Ton Thi Thanh Tinh said that, in addition to promoting visual propaganda, celebrating major holidays this year, the unit organized a series of cultural and artistic activities towards the grassroots. In particular, the center's Mobile Propaganda Team has been organizing many art performances with the theme of Offering People the Unified Song, serving the people of 11 districts and cities throughout the April 30 and May 1 holidays. At the same time, the Don Ca Tai Tu Club under the center participated in performances and exchanges in Long Khanh city and Long Thanh district.

In particular, from April 15 to May 1, Dong Nai Cultural - Cinema Center organized an outdoor LED screen exhibition with the theme of Unified Country to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification in Bien Hoa City, Long Khanh City and Nhon Trach District. The center's 5 mobile film teams actively went to the facilities to screen films such as: Finding Childhood Through Folk Games, 3D Boarding House, Returning Swallows, Miraculous Medicine... to serve children, people in remote areas, new rural communes and workers in industrial parks.

In Long Khanh districts and city, on the occasion of April 30 and May 1, many cultural and sports programs were simultaneously organized to create conditions for people of all walks of life to participate. In Long Thanh district, a cultural program with the theme "The Country is Full of Joy" was organized from April 10 to May 1 to serve in communes and towns...
