In the opening round of the Southeast Asian Cup C1 on the evening of August 20, Hanoi Police Club (CAHN) suffered a regrettable 1-2 defeat against Thailand's representative, BG Pathum United Club. Dinh Bac was arranged by coach Alexandre Polking to play in the left-back position from the start and left a certain mark.

According to the list announced by the Organizing Committee before the match, Dinh Bac is the only representative of Vietnam honored in the top names worth watching in the first round.
He is up against top Southeast Asian stars such as Faris Ramli (Tampines Rovers), Faisal Halim (Selangor), Arif Aiman (Johor Darul Tazim) and Efrain Rintaro (Shan United).
Dinh Bac is one of the outstanding players of CAHN Club in the 2024-25 Southeast Asian Cup C1. He played 4 matches, scoring 2 goals against Buriram United and Lion City Sailors. However, the striker born in 2004 had to rest since the semi-finals due to a toe injury.
Right at the beginning of the 2025-26 season, the young striker of CAHN Club has demonstrated remarkable maturity. Right after winning the Southeast Asian U23 Championship with U23 Vietnam, where he was honored as the Best Player of the Tournament, Dinh Bac continued to be the hero of CAHN in the National Super Cup match.
In the 90+8 minute, he took advantage of a sharp counterattack, finished decisively, and sealed a dramatic 3-2 victory for CAHN, helping the team win the National Super Cup for the first time in history.
Dinh Bac will return to Vietnam with CAHN Club to prepare for the away match against HCMC Club in round 2 of V League. The match will take place at 6pm on August 24.
