The Admissions Council of Van Lang University has just announced the benchmark scores for the 2024 supplementary admission round for 59 training majors in all 3 admission methods.

Dr. Vo Van Tuan, Vice Principal of Van Lang University, said that as of September 10, the school received 2,700 applications for the additional admission round, while the additional quota was 1,500.

"However, according to annual experience, the number of candidates admitted to the additional admission is only around 40%. After this period, the school will stop accepting applications for admission," Dr. Tuan shared.

Accordingly, in this additional review round, the benchmark score based on the high school graduation exam score method ranges from 16 to 22.5 points (on a 30-point scale). The two majors with the highest benchmark scores are medicine and dentistry - 22.5 points.

Two "hot" majors, public relations and multimedia communications, have a benchmark score of 21, an increase of 2 points compared to the first round.

The piano, vocal, drama - film - television actor and film - television director majors have a standard score of 18. The remaining majors have a standard score of 16.

In the high school transcript review method, multimedia communications has the highest standard score, 26 points (on a 30-point scale), followed by public relations with 24 points. Both of these majors also increased by 2 points compared to the first round.

Three majors with the same standard score of 24 are medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy.

Majors with main exam subjects with coefficient 2 such as English, graphic design, fashion design, digital art design, interior design, industrial design, architecture, film and television technology, acting - film and television, film and television directing, piano, and vocal music all have a standard score of 24 (on a 40-point scale).

It is known that candidates who are admitted to Van Lang University will enroll until September 15 and participate in the main curriculum with new students of the 30th course.
