On the evening of August 17, the Admissions Council of Vietnam-Germany University announced the admission scores based on the 2024 high school graduation exam score method.

Accordingly, the admission scores for the majors range from 18 to 22. Accordingly, the highest standard score for the major of computer science is 22 points. The two new majors of intelligent traffic engineering and process and environmental engineering (sustainable production process engineering) both have admission scores of 19.

In addition to the above scores, successful candidates must also satisfy the English entry requirements. Specifically, they must have an international English certificate of IELTS academic score of 5.0 or higher or equivalent; or an average English score determined from the English score of the high school graduation exam and the average English score of grades 10, 11 and semester 1 of grade 12 high school of 7.5 or higher. For engineering and construction management, candidates must achieve 7.0 or higher. Candidates who have enough combined points to pass the admission but do not meet the English requirement will take the English entrance exam organized by the school.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, after knowing the admission scores, successful candidates must confirm their admission online on the Ministry of Education and Training's general admission system no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27. At the same time, candidates must go directly to the universities to complete admission procedures according to the time frames specified by each university. From August 28, universities with remaining enrollment quotas will announce additional admission rounds.
