Speed ​​up the implementation of the project connecting Pham Van Dong Street to Go Dua - National Highway 1 intersection

On the afternoon of August 25, the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee issued a notice of the conclusion of Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Bui Xuan Cuong on the implementation of Resolution No. 212/NQ-CP dated July 21, 2025 of the Government related to the Investment project to build a connecting route from Pham Van Dong Street to Go Dua - National Highway 1 intersection in Hiep Binh Ward, Tam Binh, Ho Chi Minh City.

Accordingly, Van Phu Bac Ai Joint Stock Company urgently completes compensation and site clearance work according to Notice No. 52/TB-VP dated July 11, 2025 and reports the implementation results in September 2025.

The Department of Construction urgently completes the appraisal of the project's adjusted basic design this month. At the same time, review and complete the interdisciplinary working group before August 28 and proactively negotiate with investors on land funds, payment methods, and report to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee according to regulations.

The People's Committees of Hiep Binh and Tam Binh wards speed up compensation procedures, site clearance, and hand over clean land to investors before September 30.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment shall urgently implement the instructions in Notice No. 52/TB-VP on guidelines for compensation and site clearance; report before August 28; summarize difficulties and problems in 5 wards related to the Ring Road 2 project to report to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

The Department of Finance shall urgently appraise and adjust the project's Feasibility Study Report and advise the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee before September 5; take the lead in coordinating with relevant units to advise on the establishment of a Working Group to negotiate adjustments to the project's contract appendix and submit it before September 10.

Comrade Bui Xuan Cuong requested relevant departments, branches, localities and units to urgently and resolutely coordinate, ensure site clearance progress and complete legal and technical procedures so that the project can be implemented soon, contributing to improving traffic infrastructure connecting Thu Duc City and Ring Road 2.
