At around 7:00 p.m. on May 2, the family of Ms. Dinh Thi Hue in Ha Luong village, Vo Liet commune discovered a herd of pigs lying around in the pen, many of them struggling. Suspecting electrocution, the family quickly went to turn off the circuit breaker.

Immediately afterwards, people nearby came to pull the pigs out of the pen. Some people quickly butchered the pigs on the spot. At this time, 10 pigs were completely dead, 7-8 were gasping in the pen, unable to move.

To help the family in some way, many local people and pig butchers in the area came to buy the pigs that died from electric shock at a price of around 2 million VND/pig.

It is known that her family's livestock farm raises many types of livestock and poultry, such as pigs, buffaloes, chickens, etc. The pigsty is roofed with corrugated iron, and the front of the pigsty is made of iron and steel. There are many dangling electric wires in the pigsty.

Locals believe that the electric wire was likely bitten by rats, causing an electrical leak into the pigsty when it rained, electrocuting the pigs.
