On the morning of April 2, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council Luu Van Trung chaired the conference on internal affairs, anti-corruption and judicial reform in the first quarter, directions and tasks for the second quarter of 2025.

In the first quarter of 2025, the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee led and directed Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, and functional agencies to effectively carry out internal affairs and anti-corruption tasks.

Citizen reception and petition handling are ensured in accordance with regulations. There are no sudden or unexpected incidents or situations in the province, ensuring security and order, creating favorable conditions for socio-economic development in the province.

Sectors and localities have actively provided guidance and information on the reorganization and streamlining of the apparatus. Measures to manage and protect the border and grasp the internal and external situation have been strengthened.

The units coordinate well in advising leaders and directing internal affairs work on PCTNLPTC, judicial reform, handling petitions, etc.

However, in the first quarter of 2025, the situation of complaints beyond the level of authority still continues. New religious phenomena, heresies, and strange religions still promote propaganda activities, attract participants, and pose complex problems.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council Luu Van Trung emphasized that in the context of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus, there will certainly be ideas and times of holding back. This requires us to quickly overcome, not because of the idea of ​​merger that internal affairs work on PCTNLPTC is slowed down.

To do this well, first of all, all levels, sectors and localities must continue to promote information and propaganda on internal affairs and anti-corruption work. All levels must step up public opinion orientation on the policy of merging provincial and communal levels and abolishing district levels.

“We must complete the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus according to the roadmap, plan, and time of the Politburo. The time is urgent, but we must not be lax. PCTNLPTC must not leave any area or field vacant,” directed Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luu Van Trung.

According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the units effectively arranged and handled outstanding cases that the public and the press were interested in. All units strengthened the work of preventing negativity in the arrangement of the apparatus, appointment of officials, management and use of public assets and budget.

“We will step up the fight against negativity in settlement activities and the opening of new public investment projects. If there is any corrupt ideology, we will have a way to deal with it immediately,” directed Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luu Van Trung.

In the first quarter, functional agencies and departments proposed to handle 56 officials and civil servants who violated bidding regulations, causing a loss of 1.1 billion VND to the State budget. The authorities fought, arrested, and prosecuted subjects who engaged in illegal credit activities in the form of lending to pay off bank debts, with a total amount of 300 billion VND, illegally profiting 8 billion VND. Through the fight, the authorities dismantled an illegal invoice trading ring with a bank transaction amount of more than 10,000 billion VND, and a total after-tax amount of goods recorded on the invoice of 2,150 billion VND. Inspection committees at all levels inspected signs of violations against 43 party members. Through the inspection, it was concluded that 43 party members had violated, of which 9 party members and 2 party organizations were disciplined.
