In order to effectively implement the "Month of action for food safety" in 2025, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province assigned the Departments of Health, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Police and related units to organize 03 interdisciplinary inspection teams to conduct food safety inspections in 9 localities in the area.
“Food Safety Action Month” in 2025 with the theme “Ensuring food safety, focusing on food safety in collective kitchens, catering services and street food” takes place from April 15 to May 15.
Establish 3 interdisciplinary teams to inspect food safety in the area.
Accordingly, Inspection Team No. 1 chaired by the leader of the Department of Health Inspectorate, in coordination with the Food Safety Department (Department of Health), the Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Product Quality Management (Department of Agriculture and Environment), the Department of Industrial Management (Department of Industry and Trade), the Center for Testing Drugs - Cosmetics - Food (Department of Health) will conduct inspections in Buon Ma Thuot City, Lak District and Krong Ana District.
Inspection Team No. 2, chaired by the Department of Industry and Trade Inspectorate, in coordination with the Food Safety Department (Department of Health), the Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Product Quality Management (Department of Agriculture and Environment), the Department of Education and Training, and the Center for Testing Drugs - Cosmetics - Food (Department of Health), will conduct inspections in Buon Ho town, Ea Kar district and Krong Bong district.
Inspection Team No. 3, chaired by the leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Inspectorate, in coordination with the Food Safety Department (Department of Health), the Industrial Management Department (Department of Industry and Trade), the Economic Police Department (Provincial Police), and the Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Product Quality Management (Department of Agriculture and Environment), will conduct inspections in the districts of Krong Pac, Krong Nang and Cu M'gar.
Through food safety inspections, the responsibility for state management of food safety at all levels is enhanced, through inspection and post-inspection activities, violations in food production and trading are promptly detected, prevented and handled; inspection and evaluation of the implementation of the "Month of action for food safety" in 2025 at all levels and sectors.
In addition, through the inspection, timely detect and correct shortcomings and weaknesses in state management of food safety, and at the same time propose solutions to improve the effectiveness of food safety assurance.
