Danang University donated nearly 950 million VND to join hands in "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses"

Responding to the emulation movement of the whole country joining hands to "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister and the Letter calling for support to implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Da Nang city in 2025 of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, Da Nang University launched its member universities and affiliated units to respond to the movement.

The Executive Committee of grassroots trade unions organized and mobilized civil servants and workers to voluntarily contribute 1 day's salary.

The total amount of support mobilized was more than 960 million VND, of which more than 935 million VND was donated through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, the remaining amount was allocated to the Trade Union of the University of Danang Branch in Kon Tum to support the implementation of this program locally.

Speaking at the reception, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Tri Thanh acknowledged the support and sharing of the cadres, civil servants and employees of Da Nang University in joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; at the same time, he hoped that Da Nang University would continue to support other humanitarian programs launched by the front in the coming time.
