Da Nang City Border Guard proactively responds to storm No. 5

Specifically, based on the local situation, units have mobilized officers and soldiers to key areas to carry out tasks. Stations and posts maintain communication and continue to call on ships to urgently come ashore to avoid and take shelter from the storm.

In addition to firing flares to call and prohibit boats from going out to sea according to regulations, units coordinate with localities and forces to arrange boats at anchorage areas; especially at Tho Quang fishing port, where there are currently many boats coming to avoid the storm, and at the same time instruct fishermen to tie their vehicles securely, avoid collisions when the storm comes, and minimize damage to the people.

Previously, the Da Nang City Border Guard mobilized more than 200 officers and soldiers along with 15 vehicles on standby, coordinating with local authorities to notify and call on more than 1,200 fishing boats/7,000 workers to take shelter in safe places. Units are ready with rescue plans, ensuring security and safety at sea and along the coast.
