Inspection work of the Inspection Committees at all levels continues to focus on areas and places with prominent, complicated issues that are of public concern, prone to corruption and negativity; signs of degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation"...
According to Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Van Ron, the Central Inspection Commission and the Inspection Commissions of localities and units have comprehensively carried out tasks according to the provisions of the Party Charter and the tasks assigned by the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption, negativity, and Party committees with a huge amount of work.
The Central Inspection Commission and Inspection Commissions at all levels have proactively, promptly, and actively directed Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Commissions at lower levels to effectively carry out inspection and supervision work. Notably, they have innovated methods, resolutely implemented and directed inspections when there are signs of violations according to the requirements of the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption and anti-negativity for Party organizations and Party members in implementing legal regulations on state budget management.
“Through inspection and supervision, objective and accurate conclusions were drawn, and many violating party organizations and party members were strictly handled, creating positive and strong changes in the work of building and rectifying the Party. Propaganda work was maintained in a regular manner, and information on the results of the activities of the Inspection Committee increasingly received attention from the people, cadres, and party members, showing the agreement and support of the Party's determination in the fight against corruption, negativity, and degradation in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle,” Mr. Ron assessed.

On behalf of the Politburo, Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai commended the performance of the Central Inspection Commission and Inspection Commissions at all levels in 2023 and since the beginning of the term.
According to comrade Truong Thi Mai, since the beginning of the term, Party committees and organizations at all levels have paid attention to strengthening the leadership of inspection and supervision work. The Central Inspection Commission and Inspection Commissions at all levels have strived to fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party in difficult conditions, both objective and subjective, to meet the requirements of Party building and rectification in the new period.
The entire industry has completed a large amount of work, including difficult and complicated tasks, to continue implementing the policy of no forbidden zones, no exceptions, regardless of who it is; receiving recognition and high appreciation from the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and Party committees at all levels.
Agreeing with the assessment report of the Central Inspection Commission presented to the conference, Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai emphasized 3 more points that need attention, which are both outstanding results and need to continue to be implemented to successfully complete the inspection and supervision tasks.
Firstly, the most important and top priority is to advise on the concretization of the Party Congress Resolution. The Central Inspection Commission has strengthened guidance for Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels to effectively implement the Party's policies and regulations related to inspection and supervision work.
In the past time, the Central Inspection Commission and Inspection Commissions at all levels have seriously, proactively and effectively implemented their tasks. In 2023, they will continue to promote inspection and supervision work, focusing on clearer key points.
The issues that the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat are focusing on directing, such as Party building and rectification work; personnel work; results of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, areas prone to negativity... are also the focus of inspection and supervision work.
“I appreciate the Inspection Committees at all levels for strengthening supervision for prevention. Prevention will limit violations; supervision will give early warnings, from a distance, reminders, and serious corrections… which are also requirements of the Politburo,” said Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai.
