Building new rural areas, the district's economy maintains a high growth rate, continuously ranking among the top in the province for many years; The average annual growth rate of production value in the period 2016-2023 reached 9.96%, of which the period 2021-2023 reached 11.30% (ranking 5th in the province); the scale of production value in the period 2021-2023 reached 58,530 billion VND, ranking 5th in the province.

Yen Dinh district is ranked at the top of the province in attracting foreign investment. In the period of 2016-2023, the total mobilized development investment capital reached 24,472 billion VND, 4.5 times higher than in the period of 2011-2015; attracting investment in 84 projects, with a total registered capital of nearly 9,900 billion VND (including 9 FDI projects, with registered capital of 274.5 million USD), of which in the period of 2021-2023 there are 25 projects, with registered capital of nearly 4,560 billion VND (including 5 FDI ​​projects, registered capital of 127.5 million USD).

The quality of culture and society is increasingly improved and deepened. Cultural and sports activities take place enthusiastically, attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate.
