On April 30, Quang Tri Police said that, implementing the direction of the Director of Quang Tri Provincial Police on strengthening discipline, order, and compliance with the Public Security Command to urge, rectify, and prevent violations by officers and soldiers during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, the Working Group (including the specialized command team of the provincial police and related units) conducted inspections at the police stations of units and localities.

Before, during and after the April 30 and May 1 holidays, the working group of the Quang Tri Provincial Police has strengthened the inspection of the Public Security Regulations, promptly detected and reported the inspection results to the Provincial Police leaders to direct, rectify and strictly handle cases of units, officers and soldiers violating the regulations.

According to Quang Tri Police, the working group will focus on inspecting the following contents: the implementation of duties, tasks, procedures, and working regulations; the compliance with directives, orders, discipline, leadership, command, and combat readiness regimes; guarding and protecting targets; the management and preservation of weapons, support tools, fire and explosion prevention and fighting; posture, etiquette, manners, and cultural behavior when performing tasks; the implementation of the Law on Prevention and Control of Alcohol Harm and the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security on the prohibition of drinking alcohol, beer, and alcoholic substances during duty days...

Accordingly, through the initial inspection, the police leaders of the units and officers and soldiers have upheld their sense of responsibility, ensured the regular number of troops ready for combat, strictly complied with the Public Security Regulations, and had standard posture and demeanor. However, there were a few groups and individuals who showed signs of being unserious in performing their duties, and were reminded and strictly disciplined by the working group.
