With a 9-3 lead after 3 days, the Asian team entered the final day of competition with a relaxed mentality. On the final day, Quoc Hoang played the second doubles match with Ko Pin Yi, against Mickey Krause and Francisco Sanchez Ruiz. Despite the opponent leading 2-1, Quoc Hoang was still confident in showing off his excellent shots to win the match 5-3 with his teammate Ko Pin Yi, thereby raising the score between the two teams to 10-4, just one win away from the championship. The European team then won the next two matches, both thanks to Jayson Shaw, with scores of 5-3 and 5-2 against Carlo Biado and Quoc Hoang, reducing the score to 6-10. However, Singaporean player Aloysius Yapp won against Francisco Sanchez Ruiz to help the Asian team defeat the European team with a score of 11-6 and win the prestigious Ryes Cup. Under the leadership of "Wizard" Reyes, the Asian team won the tournament for the first time despite being considered weaker when facing the all-star European team. Captain Aloysius Yapp was honored as the "Best Player of the Tournament" after winning all 5 of his singles and doubles matches.
