How many candidates got 3 scores of 10 like the national valedictorian?

According to preliminary statistics from Dan Tri newspaper, in the 2024 high school graduation exam, no candidate out of more than 1 million participating candidates achieved 4 points of 10 or higher.

The number of candidates who got 3 10 points was 21. Notably, the national top scorer Nguyen Ha Nhi and 3 top scores of group C00 (literature, history, geography) were all on this list.

Coincidentally, these 21 candidates got 3 perfect scores of 10 in this year's exam, all in the social science group of history, geography and civics .

If calculated by locality, Vinh Phuc is the province with the most students achieving 3 scores of 10 with 4 candidates. Next are Bac Ninh and Thanh Hoa (each province has 3 students), Hanoi (2 students).

The provinces of Hai Phong, Hoa Binh, Nam Dinh, Nghe An, Quang Ninh, Son La, Thai Binh, Tien Giang and Vinh Long all have 1 representative on the above list.

Civics is the subject with the most candidates scoring 10 points with 3,661 students, although this number is far lower than in 2023 (14,693 students).
