Due to the impact of storm Wipha, since this afternoon, Lao Cai province has been experiencing heavy rain and strong winds, causing some trees to fall on the roads. Authorities have arrived promptly to fix the problem and regulate traffic to ensure people can travel smoothly.

On roads such as Cao Thang and Kim Dong in Yen Bai ward, many trees were also broken and fell, blocking the road, causing traffic obstruction and posing a potential danger to pedestrians.

With the motto "4 on-site", localities quickly mobilized forces to overcome the situation.

It is forecasted that in the next few hours, storm No. 3 will continue to cause rain with a common accumulation of 10-30mm, in some places over 70mm, with the risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams and landslides in mountainous areas, level I warning. People should limit going out and proactively evacuate areas at risk of natural disasters to ensure safety.
